Digital agency TP1 is proud to have worked with Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton to redesign the interactive version of their Tax Planning Guide. Now in its 28th year, this guide is an invaluable tool for RCGT clients, industry professionals and a growing number of Canadian taxpayers. It offers practical and relevant information about tax laws, updated summary tables and tools for calculating income tax payments. So the interactive version had to mirror existing content, but provide Canadian taxpayers with some added value as well.

"We actually found inspiration for the interactive version in the printed version!" explains Jan-Nicolas Vanderveken, founding partner, TP1. "We identified its strongest points - such as the featured news at the beginning of each chapter and the user of coloured tabs - and integrated them into the interactive version, alongside innovations like the iPad tax calculator."

As a result, the Tax Planning Guide is a fully-integrated platform, which includes a printed version, an SEO-optimized website, a mobile version of the site for users of iOS, Android and Windows Phone, and an iPhone/iPad application. In fact, the first iPad application to be launched by a professional firm in Canada!

"TP1 would like to thank the RCGT team for going ahead with such an ambitious project. Our gratitude to the 2XM team as well, as they ensured the iOS programming process," adds Marie-Claude Landry, director of production, TP1. "With the launch of these new web and mobile tools, RCGT has clearly stepped ahead of the competition!"
